Effortless Survival Poem by Christopher Holmberg

Effortless Survival

Blades of grass stand like the trees that oversee the fields of green.
They absorb and grow away from the rotten earth it seems
rain and wind torment the mind
atleast to breed and maniplulate thee
heat from solar flares dare to stare on the soldiers of freedom
convinced to seed and breed
they wander along like suspicious eyes on a mysterious spy
shifting up not down
as they tour their last road
hilarious sounds fill the field straight to the core
inventing and intending a visit
the blades slice and dice the rays
in an effortless survival
