If your sour lover saw
Through my eyes,
He’d cry everytime your lips
Touched his trembeling ones,
Like I cry
Everytime you touch his.
If your effectionate other
Shared my palms,
They’d carress you like a fallen
Feather
Easing itself across the river’s
Skin
If your actor,
Who you claim fits the role,
Understood my blushing soul,
His would bloom like mine
When conjoined with yours,
And alike,
Would also wither
Like a decrepid tulip
Freezing by itself
When I was alone.
If the lover you desire
Is currently the one you see
Then why
When reading my words,
You don’t invision him
But instead
Seek out me….
