Egusi Soup, My Love Poem by John Chizoba Vincent

Egusi Soup, My Love

Rating: 5.0

Let my mouth waters at the sight
Of that beautiful Egusi Soup under skirt,
It is seasoned from above by God.
Submit my soul to that woman
Whose wrapper soiled my fingers at the
Touch of her watered body.
Let my palms slump into her palms,
The moonlight spills splashes of her love upon me
As I bore deep into the feast of her.
How could one spare the moment of your
Taste ever, in dreams; too?
Whenever I taste her,
Just can't help falling in love with her before the sun.
Hot blood and violent lust,
Adding sweetness to my desire to taste her;
Pleasure thrust so deep, I must set my mouth in her
Sweetness.
Tonight's delight her shimmery flesh,
My eyes lost behind my vale.
Sooooo sweeee-et, Egusi sooooo-up;
So sweet is my love.
I will love the sweet frangrance of her hair
And feel her skin against mine,
Calling on Eba to feel our beating hearts in the night.
A love like ours, only come once in life.
I've kiss so many moons and frolick with venus,
But her mouth taste sweeter and prettier.
I'm still a champion in her heart.

Wonderful poem to read. I feel the aroma and taste of Egusi soup as I read. I am also captivated by the imageries. Thanks for sharing, John.
