Eight lines for the nearly forgotten,
will we some day return again,
to the charm of a gentle voice?
Still the small hope of dreams remain.
When a lost soul leans towards love,
creeping loneliness will find it's exile,
a once at peace, but empty soul
longs again to run that tortured mile.
Oh, so many lonely people,
Shut down by the cold,
So.. many lonely people,
who hide their hearts of gold.
In the hush of our deepest thought,
we can't believe that all is untrue,
Can we on ashes gently blow,
And trust again what we once knew.
Oh, so many lonely people,
Shut down by the cold,
So.. many lonely people,
who hide their hearts of gold.
