It all seem just like good ol' yesterday;
The cute smile of your face charmin' the Sun,
Enchantin' the Dawn of our waking day;
Bathin' silver and gold beyond the bay,
It brought me warmth and mirth and so much fun.
I would sprint to your call to come and lay
Under the moonlit night - twilight to come.
And we would count stars and all, come what may;
Our twain hearts upon a warm heap of hay,
Cherishin' the charm of LOVE we both born.
That was eight long years ago from Rose,
When I could dream a night a million prose
To write my Lover - one I truly LOVE.
Now, wonder if she watches me from 'bove.
