Elegance Undone Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Elegance Undone

Lizard eyes
Alone
Without a lizard

Transparent veils
Torn
Eyes red
Frizzled hair
Elegance undone
And with bare feet
Stood
The Lady of Red Dusks

Vague and
Bleak
Her red eyes
Looked
Staring.
