Elementary, My Dear Poem by Genevieve Surrender

Elementary, My Dear

Rating: 4.8

We sat
on the bench
and I felt
like we were a couple
of six-year-olds

Except the cookies
that we stole
from the jar
were, in reality,
a 1972
buick skylark.

Yes, I would like to see Mexico.
Vroom, vroom.
