Embedded In You Poem by Liza Sud

Embedded In You

What is it that's embedded in you,
that demolished all of my anger?
So now - let's destroy your husband,
since for us he's of no use!

Just imagine world without deformity!
Without sticking superiority!
Where battles are done without rules,
until God has corrected fools.

But we'll have to be different.
We'll take pleasure under the fence,
only softness of your surrender,
our mutual sweet repayment

And no one will come off the loser,
When the force doesn't know whom it uses.
But in ecstasy - double frailty,
and in your eyes - the heaven's gaiety.

**

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

This is an intimate conversation between lovers about two things: the validity of their love, and the obstacles they face still. The fact their love for each other is secure imparts an overall positive tone to the speaker's words. But there are big obstacles - eg. a husband who is a zero. But the solution the poem identifies is a secret love affair which is both satisfying and safe. The last stanza is written almost in coded language but it clearly sees your rapport as totally successful - ecstatic is the crucial word.

This poem celebrates human, earthly love with confidence in its truth and reality. Despite really big problems in balancing different demands of love, the speaker is so enriched by her experience of love she is not desperate or despairing. Is there a solution to his crisis of love? I doubt there is one single solution, but perhaps, as the speaker puts, GOD WILL CORRECT FOOLS, and something entirely new will bring closure. And peace to restless human hearts.
