Embrace The Fall Poem by Cordell Rich

Embrace The Fall

Rating: 5.0

If I could fly, I would look for you
And we would wait for the night
Then together we would soar
Coaxing each other higher
With no direction but up
Finally exhausting ourselves
In the black spaces nearest heaven
With only stars above and stars below
Spent from this struggle
I would pull you close
Wrapped in each other’s arms
We would embrace the fall
