Embracing Reality Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

Embracing Reality

Glasses requisite for proper eyesight,
A little finger that can only support,
A large cut on cheek as an infant,
Lately extracted, a molar lost
Is included in the defect list,
Despite every imperfection
Still whole, resolute, unbroken,
Embracing reality and solitude,
Accepting positivity with gratitude,
Now willing to let go, the incertitude.
