Emily Dickinson Poem by Aina Tumininu

Emily Dickinson

Rating: 4.0

She lit a candle
Placed it under a bundle
To make its light rumble
That all may keep on the stumble
Since the covered radiance
Serves a great mangle
Which makes her victims tangle

She lit a torch
And made it a porch
After flickering round the room
When those who can't but loom
Had not in anyway nearer
Yet all cries for light
Since the house is left in night

Did she mentor you?
Emily the light murderess
A pessimistic fellow
Whose achievement worth envying
Succeeded breaking gigantic heart
Will you look unto her?
That you may bury in you the awe

In you lie treasures
In numerous and uncountable measures
Dickinson would have wanted it
Another chance to explode the world
But 'too late' says the clock
So keep not the same tale
And keep your sake on the trail
