Oceans Of Mirage Poem by Aina Tumininu

Oceans Of Mirage

I felt so wonderful
When I fell into the oceans of love
Wondering and pondering
oh ocean!
A mirage or real?
Not even minding the cost
I jumped into it
Like a swimmer in the pool
I dived in like a fool
As dancers dances to the beat
I danced to the tune of my glee

The oceans drove me off
Only to find myself in the Cutest hands
I saw myself in the mist of Princesses
lo and behold!
He is a prince
I wasn't thinking of anything else
All I want is him
All I can hear
Is the jingling of love

Hmm! Time changes weather
As thyme changes taste
I tried to reach on to him
But that brought about the realisation
'My hands are short'
The sun that rises from the east
Had to set in the West
The fool moon at night
becomes fool in the morning
I wept inside of me
How could I have lost you?
Who is of inestimable value

Now I have accepted the bitter truth
That you are no more with me
Your heart belongs not to me
My eyes are wide open
Only to find out I was dreaming
And the ocean was a mirage
Oh my love!
Of forced myself to say:
GOOD BYE.
