Emotions Poem by Chris Foof

Emotions

Can't voice these thoughts they scar my eyes
Can't put this away ive become these lies
Seeing her in my thoughts my dreams
Reduced to not my heartless yet heartfilled shcemes
I dance the dance of the damned yet free
Ive lost the light the soul of me
I move with out the precision of grace
Or the sweet touch of love like lace
But with the reckless abondon and haste
of sharp liqours rough and emotionless taste
My eyes so heavy with dreams weight
Limbs as heavy from my emotional sedate
The world swirls and blurs an infinite design
longing for her i cant stop my hearts pine
The restless sleep wont stop till i grasp my self
Forced to pull my feelings off the bloody shelf
I stand naked in a way i have dreaded so desperatly
But it has to happen if i ever hope to be free
Must make it right must set it straight
DEAR GOD please tell me that im not to late

An interesting write; it's never too late for God; perhaps you would enjoy my poem entitled 'Waiting on You'.
