Sitting alone in darkness
All I can feel is emptiness
There is this hole in my heart
That I can't seem to fill
Emptiness is all I feel
I keep myself busy
But no matter what I do
My heart is never content
I got out on a journey
To fill the gap
As i was tired of this feeling
I can longer take it
Emptiness and sadness they go hand in hand
But they never meet face to face
I could never understand the reason for it
Until I met you, it was as if my heart was longing for you
But then you left too
Living a void bigger than before
All I could do is sit there
With the hope that this feeling will go away
