Emptiness - Poem by Emmanuel Stone
I feel nothing in my spine
No pulse as commanded
Between broken intermissions
As soulless desires are corrupted.
The demanding rhythm holds no time,
Demanding nothing, holding absence,
Absolutely commanding and vacuous;
Listen to the sound of emptiness.
