Emptiness Poem by Patti Masterman

Emptiness

The emptiness harms regularly
In consequence ruined possibility

Spent love, that the echo seizes
Splintered beats of truth, receding

Drummed beats reverberate the pain
Night time runs from vacuous day

Night runs amok, but daytime's worse
For then you can't deny your curse
