A thousand words wont bring you back
I know because i've tried
a million tears cant bring you back
I know because i've cried
i have no idea where you are,
i know because ive asked
the devil ran away at the thought of your name
so did this forsaken task
a billion dollars cant tell me i love you,
or how you make me feel
neither can the million tears threatening to spill,
nobody can tell me to get over you
my love is valid, insanely true
the tears i cry for you and me
are not open for the world to see
in sanctem may i cry for you
in private my grief is finely due
i ask the questions, why you, not him
for you had me attached to every whim
every word, every action, you may have done
you will always be the winner, my soul you have won
a prize i wished you kept forever
this occurence is a knife waiting to sever
the tears and heart, from blood will spill
upon my blank canvas, which no one can fill
empty and blank, white and plain
i cant help but wonder, am i in vain?
strung to you
like a foot to a shoe
what is one without the other?
what is me without you?
the tears are an undying puddle
my mind is raging, but actions remain suttle
tears fall down pouring down,
i wander if from my tears i might drown,
that thought seems simple, rather easy
if only i was, just as sneeky
no one will miss me, i know this for a fact
i can see you in heaven, that once more my heart will be intact.
i cant see you, you can see me
lord help me and you, get together again
in your name amen
