Empty Clouds With Nothing To Show Poem by Suzae Chevalier

What we wear and how we dress
shows others what we do confess.
For if you try to be sexy and lead
others astray-
you will lead them to sin
and could send them to their graves.
I know some like me were soul tied
to our things and need to come clean.
But others if I ask
"why do you wear makeup? "
They say
"I do it for others"
well right there they prove
the world's opinion is
more important than the Holy One
they justify why they wear makeup
and all sexy dress
and do not confess-
to their Lord and Savior
if He is really in their hearts
He would rebuke them and set
them apart.
But they are like the world
and the empty clouds there in
they are still lying,
they are still full of sin.
