Enamored With Glue Poem by Amanda May Moore

Enamored With Glue

When does one know where to go?
When all of everything seems slow
I know where I want to be
But I have no guarantee
Will I be met there
Does he even care?

What an evil emotion
This relationship's potion
To keep me fixed
When all of my feelings are mixed...
Love's a mystery
Here and there and history.

When love is lost
It willl cost
Cost a lot to find again
What a hard thing to imagine and when
It is not lost, is it really found?
The bigger question: will it stick around?

I know what I have stumbled in
And I know I want it to be a win
That is what my heart aches for
A love that can adore
All things, and be equally sore
His heart for mine and mine for more.

That is this feeling
That I need some healing
I fall and fall
For no reason at all
Because no one has caught me
So I continue my fall never to be free

Until perhaps you are enamored too
If so, please catch me and hold with glue.
