How Much Ache
Can A Human Heart Take
Before It Shatters
And Finally Breaks

How Much Sorrow
Can A Single Soul Arbor
Before It Begins
To Hate Tomorrow

How Much Pain
Again, And Again
Can A Body Endure
Such A Torture Chain

Yet, Endurance …
By Its Very Appearance
Shows A Prudence
And Perseverance

But Need Assurance
That Hope’s Emergence
Means Deliverance
Will Run Interference

And Fortitude …
While Greatly Imbued
With Attitude
Is Sadly Viewed

Or Misconstrued
As Dogged-Destitute
Of The Solitude
So Let Help Include:

… A Tunnel Light
An Inner Might
To Fight, Good Fight
‘Til All’s Alright

For A Resurgence
Of Exuberance
Sinks Turbulence’s
Virulences

Yes, Endurance …
Is Courageousness
Beats Bitterness
And Pity’s Nest

Endurance …
Is A Preference
To Prevail In This
‘Til We’re Done With This

And Fortitude, At Its Zenith Best
Mostly Leads, To Sweet Success
And Survival, Of The Fittest
Only Comes With Sure-Fire-Endurance
