Endurance Poem by 41413 41412

Endurance

There sat a man,
In the darkest of days.
He fights as he can,
Til' his soul decays.
For what does he fight?
For the night or light?
Let it be known that during the grimmest of days,
His passionate will never sways.
He bears his hate,
as he understands true faith.
Not in the gods and not in man,
But in he, who does what he can.
For one must know that the will of souls,
Can bear even the strongest of tolls.
And in the treble of heaven's harmony,
He shall bear his pain happily.
