Have you ever had a love...
A love that somehow after it had ended...
Endured in the recesses of your mind, your heart...
And lies there without any acknowledgement...
With no regard except in those odd moments of sheer agony...
Agony that rips at your very being...
To the point that it almost torments you...
And you, on the brink of loathing & self destruction...
Finds relief in that love gone...
A strange comfort, like somehow that love that's
lived in those dark corners is living in that other person too...
And that love that you had for eachother was so strong...
It is like they are still there, know of your pain...
A kinetic force formed between two that draws the feeling that they truly know your pain...
Your suffering that's all too real...
And there's this energy sending out impulses to the other & suddenly you become flushed with relief...
Like a connection was made solely through your minds...
And in that other person, you are able to find solace...
A haven to protect your sanity...
