Enforcing - Disengagement Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Enforcing - Disengagement

I told myself
as I drove off
into the wilderness
this morning
that I would
turn my phone
off for a few days
to enforce my
disengagement.

But I have checked
my messages
several times
in the last hour.

(We are weak, and when we
take decisions, we have to remain firm
to achieve our spiritual goals)
