Engraved In My Heart: Poem by Noorie Ali

Engraved In My Heart:

This world can’t see.
What I’ve, engraved in my heart
Its, starts with those letters, which mean well.
The words that clearly spell your name.
I see no shame in playing this simple game.
With my trust totally in you.
Those golden rules, those highlight our love.
You’re like a juicy turtledove to me.
Chained, with your attraction.
I am so above that spot
That blows my mind away.
I am further than the last heaven up,
As you, see me falling for you.
As if, rain hit you like a rock.
It, past you.
Swiftly only to find I kissed you.
With my raindrops that bounced
Onto you elastic-eyed, as I blinked for a moment you caught me.
As, I dissolved, in your skin to purify you.
You cried you pain out with me.
Gradually we flew without gravity
Like a magnet you stuck with me
Against all odds, we stood quietly.
As we choked on each others tongue
Till you swallowed my breathe
Spitting on my cherry-chopsticks.
You gave me the sweets of death.
I became so compressed
With your one touch.
