Entombed Poem by Noah Body

Entombed

Rating: 5.0

Here I sit all alone
Feeling down, feeling blue
For no reason known
Tears falling right on cue

It is now a common state
To be so lonely and depressed
It is simply now my fate
To be alone and repressed

There's a world out there
Somewhere beyond these walls
To heaven above I send a prayer
Please let my heart hear it's calls

Please help me to break free
To live again and feel the light
Please help me to once again see
The joy in life, all that's right

To that prayer there's no response
Forever I remain behind these walls
Deeply buried herein ensconced
Entombed never to hear life's calls

A superb poem, written in soulful appealing wordings, great rhyming n flow indeed. I think if we didn't have dejection in life we wouldn't be good at poetry, poetry is fed by the ink of some sadness usually. So kudos n keep writing. So Nice to read from your pen again, I hope u too will Read n comment my latest poem titled, ' stand tall and proud yet humbly bow' So Nice to read from your pen again, I hope u too will Read n comment my latest poem titled, ' stand tall and proud yet humbly bow'

You have given an insight to this pain and unknown for many. The many great writes that you have penned would be wonderful in a book with photographs. They may help others. Thank you Tony for this heartfelt write.

Thank you Lyn. Your comments are always greatly appreciated. A book you think? I did put many of them into a free book on smashwords but it's not illustrated. It hasn't seen much interest. Less than 100 downloads and it's free.
