And how surprise I was when you changed
I remember thinking
The way you treated me
Like no one did
It was warm and welcoming
I remember your tan skin
your wavy eyebrows
And how in denial you were when I talked about your curly hair
I remember
How you opened up our conversations
How long your story was
And how honest you lied
I remember too
The way you called my father's name just like you were born in the same age
The way you ruined my mood
And the way you made me smile alone like I was a lunatic
I remember exactly
How funny you were when you tried to tell me how you felt about me
How ignorant I was
And how we let our feeling eaten by time
Till we had to chase our rainbows all alone
