When we were seven
We used to play hide and seek
We were not afraid of getting sick
We just kept dancing in the rain
And waiting for the rainbow to come again
When we were seven
We used to wave our hands
When we saw aeroplanes
Flying so high in the sky
Wishing they would reply and say hy
When we were seven
We used to play on the railway
Catching butterflies and dragonflies in the middle of the day
Catching the fallen kite
Running from the dog which wants to bite
When we were seven
We liked to run round and round
Till we fell to the ground
But we were never ashamed of crying
Even after that, we still got laughing
When we were seven
When the street lights full of bugs in the night
And we listened to the crickets singing under the moonlight
Yeah, That's what happened
When we were seven
