Equal Mind- Ode To My Brain Poem by JD Rose

There was such a time,
When I saw the true world,
Through some others own
Dilated…. Eyes,

I saw their Births, Their First steps,
Their Marriage..

I Saw the:
Hardship,
The Love,
The Trust,
I saw their loved ones dying off
one by one..

There came a time
When I saw 3D life,
Through my own eyes.

I saw my hardships,
my conflicts.,
I saw the love of my life
Walking out as fast as she came in...

I saw my eyes crying
like an afternoon thunderstorm,
Dropping furiously,
around my umbrella of
surroundings.

And Then, there came a time
of complete silence..

No Rain,
Impossible?

Not a dropp to Spare,
of Sorrow,
The Drought had ended….
The Lake Bed UN-earthed.

And hence, the Days I Live....
I Got Up,
I Got UP...
And Gave The World The Bird...
