Let me erase away your many tears
abolish from your mind any fears
a beautiful face should always smile
never show a frown that is hostile

For he is not worth a broken heart
you are better now you are apart
he was not to be the one for you
this I think you secretly knew

The pain he has caused will fade away
will take a while but easier each day
it is hidden so deep within your soul
locked with love he callously stole

So dry your eyes and weep no more
open your heart let your feelings soar
say goodbye to him and all you knew
it is time to graze in pastures new
