Plant a tree and watch her grow
rising upwards high to the sky
emerald leaves so shiny and green
flourishing with abundant supply

Natures marvel taken from seed
branches that grow every which way
a picture of beauty all year round
shining light on a day even grey

She will grow so tall and very strong
shelter the birds from rain and snow
open her arms and welcome spring
blossoming buds that grow and grow

Year after year a spectacular show
the magic this tree can unfold
changing leaves from red to brown
then finally to a shimmering gold
