Erasing You - Poem by Jessie Mahoney Bathis

I erase our first kiss
I erase all I thought was bliss
I erase your gentle touch
I erase how I missed you so much
I erase the way I looked into your eyes
I erase every one of your lies
I erase all the times I held you
I erase the love that I thought was true
I erase each time you made me happy
I erase every word you ever said to me
I erase the feelings that were never real
I erase every tear that came out of my eyes
I erase all those nights I'd stay up and cry
I erase our first hello and last goodbye
I erase you making me feel like I wanted to die
I erase every memory of you
You're forever forgotten
I'm done wasting my time and love on you
