Here I sit on the shore
Of a world that I adore
At its edge it begins to crumble
Time the cause of this great rumble
I lay back in its breadth
Thinking of the worlds great death
Even after all this time
There are people I wish were mine
If only my love for them could transcend
This world's beautiful end
Long after we are gone
There will be another dawn
For time creates and it destroys
We are subject to its ploys
We bear witness to time's grand plan
It is not meant for us to understand
