I am filled with agony,
During a time I could spend being happy.

It is depressing,
He is most confusing.

He has me aloof during the night.
Making daily task a fight.

It doesn't even seem to affect him.
I wish it did because I want him to feel the same.

It is not fair that I have to suffer.
He's the one to blame for my missing laughter.

Says the most absurd things and expects me to accept.
It just makes me fret.

Your past love hurts my heart.
Right now it is what has us awaiting a new start.
