It was a deer grazing
But his heart was in search of a shedeer
He did not know where abode was
But she knew him
She knew where he was and what he was doing
She espied the hunter
who had poured honey on the grass
to allure the deer
The hunter was softly approaching the deer
with his bow ans arrow
aimed at the deer
She cried Beware!
The leaves of the trees echoed Beware
The ripples murmured Beware
The deer heard the voice
And lo! the deer ran at great speed
away from the meadow away from the forest
past the rivulet past the hills
Did he find the abode of her sweet heart?
