Estella Wont' Return Poem by Ragy Sandid

Estella Wont' Return

Rating: 3.0

Pip I am
The hunchback of Notre dam
In me there's always a hunch
But clueless I am

So many pages
Inked in so much hope
That my soul rages
That this was more like dope

Alright I'll be
Eventually in the end
The only one that's left is me
I am my best friend

But that's not what this is for
It's for the bold to take the rope
Climb up higher and more
And know finally the lookalike of hope

Yet many happy endings there were
But none fit this story's ending
For the only thing I know is I love her
For her I am the beginning of an ending

The first one is always the dearest
Like Pip, remembered for that
The first one is always the clearest
Hunchback with the world on his back

Quasimodo has no Esemrelda
Nor did foul knight a right to her earn
A heart of copper or gold but I never held her
Yet, for hope, Estella won't return
