In a coffin, a small place of silent end,
Where death and fear with horror blend,
An angel weeps in mute, tearful prayer,
As a broken heart gasps for one last breath.
In this realm of paradise, or is it hell,
Where voices of torment and laughter swell,
The eyes of the poor meet the gaze of wealth,
As the door to salvation remains sealed, itself.
Heaven's mercy, elusive, escapes like a dream,
Life's recreation, a twisted, nightmarish scheme,
But in the midst of darkness, there's a choice,
To find a glimpse of light in the shadows' voice.
For in this cycle of torment and despair,
Hope can mend the wounds, binding hearts with care,
A chance to escape the endless, bitter rain,
And find a path to a paradise born again.
