Euphemism Too

We're all sure
what 'banana' is a euphemism for,
but before now
not many knew
that 'acquaintance'
meant that too.

Occasionally I use it in conversation
to entendre x 2,
or to avoid sensation,
or to be asked for explanation,
for which I've committed to memory:
'The first thought of Gulbeyaz the Sultana
was to cut off Juan's head,
the second was to cut only his - acquaintance.'*
