O fleeting love, like a wisp of smoke!
You drift away leaving me bereft of sensibilities;
Ever in the blues.
Love! The potion to give life to life,
Robbed forever from me.
In the sea of woes, I weep;
Bemoaning the love lost in the labyrinth of ephemeral passion.
Like a foetus, I lay;
The pain consuming my entire being,
Gnawing at the insides.
The mind consoles the heart.
My mind in a whirl,
Trying to ease the never-ending misery.
Veiled neath the weary cloak of tranquility,
My cries of anguish go unheard,
Gently seeping into the pores of the mute walls,
And fading away into the silence of the night.

In the sea of woes, I weep; Bemoaning the love lost in the labyrinth of ephemeral passion. Like a foetus, I lay; my cry of anguish unheard. very nice use of words in this poem. you are bringing in lot of thoughts which is worth pondering. do not be sad or depressive. you are going to win and conquer. tony
