Evasion Poem by Sara Kerr

Evasion

Rating: 2.6

the sleep slips through my eyes
as tears drip down my face
overwhelming emotion
my life such a disgrace

every hope that I have
somehow gets crushed
every time you heart beats
my cheeks just get flushed

its useless to feel
yet somehow neccesary
its pointless to heel
yet somehow conclusionary

I am staying inside
I am staying away
I just can't cry anymore
no not today

Sara, this is such a sad poem. I wish I could say something to cheer you up, cos nothing is as bad as it seems you know. Jerry
