Even When Poem by Shiela Marie Anunciacion

Even When

Rating: 5.0

Even mountain lions roar
When you lay dying by the shore
Even the seagulls cry
When they left you there to die

Even drum rolls fade
When you finally had been laid
Even flowers dried up, withered
When they found out you were murdered

Even clouds pour heavily
When you left unintentionally
Even birds sadly sung
When they let you hang

Even you will smile
When you know it's futile
Even then they'll know
When justice is served now

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A poem of justice and injustice. It show's that even when there's a sin committed in secret, someone/something is a witness. Justice will be serve at the right time and moment where refutation is futile.
