Everlasting Request For Poetry Poem by CHISENGA KENNETH

Everlasting Request For Poetry

My ears are itching
To hear the poem from Emily
As i lie in the silent realm
Of the dead
My soul is requesting them
All to read
The poem of Shakespeare
For my soul will disappear to appear
In the voice of a poet
Dressing in black and blank
Without the lyric ballad it is grey
And the maggots are smiling on my flesh
Read for me a poem from Gankhananni Wakwazalilo in the Abyss
Which reminds me the darkness found in hell
And the light living in the world
The soul of poets lives in the scribbles and
Voices of emerging flowers.
The read will set my soul to rest
Am all yours, dead and living crest.
