Everlasting Time Poem by christian thurmond

Everlasting Time

Oh, we all say, there's never enough time,
And, if you could only read my mind,
You would find that, I want time to slow,
To let my heart beat flow,
Flow into the words your about to read,
And, to the depths I lead,
Lead you into a place where time never ends,
Where your mind, never bends,
Never brakes to think, what have I done,
But, run run run,
Run from my fears and run from my dreams,
Well in this place, you will see very different themes,
On how to go, day by day,
Or to forget, to stay,
Stay away from the monsters and let them out,
And one room, will make you scream and shout,
because us as humans, need to break free,
Free from being the same, free from seeing what we cant be,
And living, as if we can do anything and everything,
Because, everyone should have a right to sing,
Sing out with love, beauty, and glee,
But, no one should have to run into the shadows,
And hide, in the gallows,
