Every Age Has Its Beauty - Poem by AtreyaSarma Uppaluri
Life is a play and also a war of many a hope;
We should learn with every trouble how to cope.
Every age and stage has its beauty and music;
So at no phase of life we should feel sick.
Don’t feel guilty about your desires at all;
They’re the rudder of your life which isn’t small.
Then your desires were a simple spree
For you were totally gay and carefree;
Now your desires need an effort and will
Even as you’ve duties to perform with skill.
Then you were a chirping and warbling bird;
Now you’re a singing and inspiring bard.
Then you were a free-floating cloud;
Now you rain smiles of joy all around.
Then you were playing by the Ganga river;
Now you sail it in a swan like canoe to deliver
Sweet songs of your life without any shiver.
