Every Flower Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Every Flower

Fairy, fairy,
Counting every flower
That spring with each drop of morning dews
And though with unbent heads
The flowers decked in mourning garb
Funereal
Mourn.
At intervals intermittent I hear them
Sigh
They in alteration whisper soft
And angry.
