Every Time I Breathe Poem by Ronald King

Every Time I Breathe

I was sitting on a bar stool when she came walking in she put her arms around me said man how have you been she said I've really missed you it's been a long time then she whisper to me softly do I ever cross your mind do you ever cross my mind every now and then every time I breathe out every time I breathe in all those long lonely nights that's how it begins every time I breathe out every time I breathe in we sat and talked for hours of a dream that never came true but when I reach into the darkness I'm reaching for you.
