Everything Poem by Mai Hastings

Everything

How many feathers does a bird have?
Can you lick your elbow?
Am I smarter than a baby?
If my teacher was here she would say
'Are you sure thats a relevant question? '

For me school is boring,
boring, boring, boring
I dropp my head on the table and
listen to my teacher talk about
stuff i won't even need to know for the future...
What is and alloy?
Write an essay based on this poem...
Blah blah blah

If I could wish for one thing it
would be to have powers.
When I was younger i used to
wish for a unicorn to take
me away over the rainbows far far away...
and I do still wish for that to happen,
but I've already been waiting for 13 years

When my toes are pointed and in position
I could feel the music rush through my body...
and right there everything seems magical
I don't need a wish a wand or anything to
make this moment feel anymore magical
than it already does.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was inspired myself to write this poem because I really felt like showing people how I really felt but didn't know how so I decided to right a poem...
