Everything And Nothing. Poem by Hannah Hoy

Everything And Nothing.

I see everything,
Yet I see nothing.
How can this be?
You can too.
You see what I can't,
And I see what you won't.

For where you merely see
People and buildings,
I see life, hope and pain.
I don't merely see people and buildings,
I see everything that makes and breaks then.
Yet only you and not I
Can feel it.
How is this so?

How can this be?
