Everything I Am
You are my rock, my guide, my root and bud
my heart came from you, my body, my soul so true
I walk the line for you, I argue and fight til dawn
I cry, laugh, write, and sometimes yawn
you are my infinity, my friend, my heart and goal
my universe, my stars. my genes, my soul
sometimes I love you like a glowing sun
but no matter what you are always my mum.
