I have lost all that I that have cared for,
I have endured the wrath of evil
My past has be vanquished by destruction
And I sit here and look out upon the unknown

Even though my future is uncertain,
I choose to brace the unknown and have faith that
Everything will be "ok".

Chaos has struck the world,
The winds of time have changed direction.
I am alone yet I feel the comfort of God,
I feel the warmth of his body holding me close.

And even though my future is uncertain
I choose to brace the unknown and have faith that
Everything will be "ok".

We all deal with loss and deceit in life,
We all struggle to understand why there is pain.
Why do we destroy ourselves and kill each other.
Why has hell risen and taken hold of our lives.

I see all this and I know that:
Even though my future is uncertain,
I choose to brace the unknown and have faith that
Everything will be "ok".

I am a survivor, a true Patriot of living life,
I shall be strong and carry on my heritage.
I will guide you, if you would like,
And show you the way to a better understanding

For, even though my future is uncertain,

REB (FEB 2012) I don't know who wrote the words - "even though my future is uncertain, I choose to brace the unknown and have faith that everything will be "ok"." But I felt they needed clarification.
