I go talk
You say I be lazy youth, you say make I go work
But you no allow me rest for east, west, south and even north
I say I go be leader like you when I grow up
But u change my dream and make my hope lost
Hunger make my innocent young sisters start runs
I make up my mind work hard, I no wan go rob
You no even feel sorry for me or the little ones wey still dey grow up.
So I go talk
Small money I dey make for my motherland I invest am based on our educational system na scam no good schools
Even the graduates no get jobs and some no get food
Meanwhile your children dey school oversea
You suppose protect me but you hurt me
I no hold gun still you call me criminal, you call me thief
Collect my money come still shoot me
Your reason na because I wear fine polo and expensive jean
Or maybe na my phone or my new whip
Then without empathy you waste me.
So I go talk
You wear black and your heart u paint black
Put me six feet under ground and you close my chapter
You no stop there, still you face my brothers
You make my mama life bitter
Na you be the true criminal.
Oga I go talk
